I always remember "that food" that I'm being tempted by will ALWAYS
be there. I mean, my world will not END if I don't eat it this time, because there will always be a
next time, because food is always there. ~Cindystarr
2.
I really have to focus on my goals. I am 2/3rds of the way there, and it's easy to get lazy now that it's harder to
lose the weight. I'm in that phase where my body is changing but the scale isn't. I can't be tempted by thoughts that say
"Well the scale isn't going to move anyway so I might as well enjoy myself". ~JennDiva75
3.
Lately when I am tempted I always say
"If I eat this I will be that much further away to getting pregnant"
and lately that has stopped me from eating it. Not sure if that is a trick or not but I
am talking myself out of "cheating" myself instead of talking myself IN. My MAIN problem has been I always
"count" the days before weigh in and say to myself "Oh I can have this"...and now I said "NO MORE". ~snowbabygirl

I know this isn't for everyone, but
I let almost everyone I know that I am doing WW and I encourage them to ask how I
am doing by always answering. It keeps me honest, because I know I have so many people really pulling for
me, and just a few that I want to prove to that I will indeed do this time. ~Schnickies
5.
I drink water with lemon in it the day of WI and the day prior to WI. I think this helps if I'm retaining
any water. ~Jayywo
6.
Going to the gym is keeping
me OP :) I go right after work and usually
don't have a problem at night (my hard time) because I figure what's the point of all that exercise if I'm going to mess it
up by going off program. ~grandmamarge
7.
Cooking for other people. Evening meals are often the hardest for me. Well, I have two
friends who are also on WW and I cook our eveing meal. They swing by the house and pick it up. I love to cook and coming up
with meals that will delight them has been very rewarding. I make things for them that I would never have taken the time to
make for myself, so I am benefitting all the way around. ~tashatasha
8.
I find it easy to make sure I always have easy accessable, low point foods available at all times.
Every weekend
when I am already cooking, I will cook up a little extra, weigh it and seal it up and into the freezer it goes. I write the
points on the out side so, I always know what I am eating! I also keep Smart Ones in the freezer at work incase I forget my
lunch! ~achause
9.
I just have to remind myself that
I am just cheating myself when I "sneak" food. And knowing that so
many people know I am doing this and are pulling for me helps too. ~kellielee65

My tip would be to have a journal buddy. I have gotten such great advice and ideas from my journal buddy. I discovered
that my vitamin supplement was making me unreasonably crave things. Now I'm back in the groove since I got that supplement
out of my system. I also get new ideas for meals and snacks as well as have a huge amount of accountability. It really makes
you think twice before you eat something when you know someone else will be seeing what you ate!!! ~Heddysue (me)
11.
For me it is just thinking to myself "How bad do you want this?" Also, remembering
how far I have come and that I don't want to go back there. I was too miserable. I like my life better now.
So many things are opening up to me now. I will not give that up. ~agolfman
12.
Before starting WW I decided that if
I looked at this as a class (and boy, is it!) then I could succeed by going for that A. I'm trying to 'get an A' on WW now so when I'm tempted to eat more than my allocation of points, I
remember my grade. ~Kafina
13.
Excercise - even just a little. I am so opposed to excercise that I refuse to blow the day if
I have already excercised. ~PreKPrincess
14.
I stay OP by thinking, "Well, nothing
is really forbidden on WW, but is it worth it to blow all those points on that "one" thing." I do better if I have a relaxed
approach than if I am up tight. ~juliamustlose
15.
This board keeps me OP and my WI (weigh in)!!! I love the accountability
the WI gives me. I'm afraid to gain for them, not so much for me. It's the fear factor!! And the support and encouragement
this board gives is a major help when I wanna stuff!!! ~nlrl90

Coffee! (Or anything that you
like to drink for 0 pts.) I have found that
if I am on the verge of eating in a not OP way, if I can take the time to make myself a cup of steaming hot, good coffee,
put Splenda and a little cream in it, and just take the time to sit down and drink it in a relaxed way, it often helps me
get thru that craving. ~Tib2002
17.
Prayer keeps me OP. ~swisstapestry
18.
I always try to keep some SmartOnes, or Lean Cuisine in the freezer.
If
I start feeling hungry I grab a bottle of water, and I also chew a lot of gum. ~tjkww31302
19.
I stay OP by making sure that I buy the things I need when I'm at the grocery store, and not buying the things that I don't choose to count anymore! ~marthatx244
20.
The one thing that is keeping me on
plan and sticking to my range is just knowing that I get to start over each day.
If I'm really craving something but I don't have the points for it I tell myself
my points start over tomorrow and if I still want it tomorrow then I can have it then. 9 times out of 10 when
the next day is here the craving is gone and I've succeeded to stay OP.
I
can't drink anything else until I've drank my water for the day. I usually like to drink a diet vanilla coke
for my dessert in the evening so must get my water in! ~teri42
