I have a huge family and am blessed with such a close family!

Mom and Dad |

|
I love this picture because it shows my mom and dad laughing and having a good time! |
My Wonderful Sissy, Betsy |

|
My sister, Betsy, passed away on Aug. 23, 1999. I miss her so much! |
Mom,
Dad, Betsy and I had some difficult times, but we had many more wonderful times!!! I
am so blessed to have grown up with such a wonderful family.
Dad taught
me the value of hard work, unconditional love for his family, and all about sports.
Mom taught me to love all people regardless of race, sexual orientation, marital status,
financial status, or anything else that we might possibly classify someone as. She
taught me to stand up for what I believe in.
My sister
taught me to help others and to live life to its fullest. She had so many opportunities
because she was deaf and so many challenges because she was deaf. She met every
one of those challenges full in the face and usually succeeded. At the very least,
she learned something from every challenge she was dealt.

Dad Southwell |

|
He's a retired Navy Chief who really loves his family! I can always count on him! |
Mom Southwell |

|
The sweetest woman in Illinois, she loves her family fiercely! |
This is my other Mom and Dad. I was gifted with a wonderful extended family when I married
my darling husband. Dad loves working on his datsun, helping out his family, and Allison Krauss. His fierce devotion
to country and family are incredibly admirable and just make you want to be patriotic!
Mom is beautiful! She is crazy and funny and loves our friends like she loves us.
She's always called my husbands friends her boys. And she's adopted our female friends too. She has a story for
every situation and is quick to come to assistance. I am so very blessed!

Grandma and Me |

|
My grandma is an exceptional woman! I can count on her for good advice. |
Granny and her Grandchildren |

|
My granny is another exceptional woman. She has been an example to our family! |
My grandmothers have both had a profound influence on my life.
Grandma has taught me so very much about life. She has survived the deaths of parent, two husbands,
siblings and a grandchild, supported herself, my step-grandfather, and my cousin for years, and has always been there
to support me. Yet even more evidence of the blessings God has put in my life.
My Granny taught me some of the most important lessons of all. She taught me about Jesus and
loving your neighbor. She showed me what it meant to support missions and to be faithful in prayer and devotions.
She taught me to have fun and how to love my little sister even when I just wanted her to go away. I am so grateful
for the blessing of my Grandmothers!

Granny and her Kids |

|
This is my dad's family. We are all so close and I am grateful for every one of them! |
Mom and her Sisters (NOT) |

|
As soon as I get a pic of Mom and her sisters scanned, I will put it here. |
I am blessed with a wonderful family on both sides!
Dad has six brothers and one sister. He is the oldest and I am the oldest granddaughter.
I love listening to my uncles and aunt talk about when they were kids. I know that I can always count on my family.
I really enjoy family sings. There's nothing like family harmony!
Mom has two sisters. She is the middle child. My Aunt Marty is a college professor.
I really enjoy spending time with her and her sons (and new daughter-in-law). Aunt Linda is beautiful and supportive.
She has always been there to listen when I needed someone to talk to. She is very loving and caring. I am grateful
for my aunts!
